Recently, I was on a reading frenzy. And there were so many great middle-grade novels that needed reading!
Some were reviewed for a Christian Science Monitor spring round-up.
HERE'S THE LINK.

And here are the books. Loved them all. Can't wait to catch sight of young readers under a tree, by the pool, on a bus or a plane, sitting on the front porch, at the public library- reading all summer long!
It's Monday. (Is it summer yet?) What's everybody out there reading?

I enjoyed Grump and Bob. Evangeline of the Bayou is in my pile to be read and I've heard only amazing things about Amal Unbound so it's on my list to read.
Amal Unbound and Bob are on my reserve list at my public library. Since I've retired I really miss my library budget to purchase new books that I want to read. I just don't have this kind of personal cash to support my reading life!
I love reading middle grade books. They always seem to have timeless messages and speak right to the heart. I enjoyed both Amal Unbound and Bob. I have Grump on my TBR list and am very much looking forward to that. Thanks so much for sharing and have a great reading week!
I've read Amal Unbound, but the others I haven't (yet) - so many books, so little time!!
Grump and Bob were two middle grade fantasy books that I really enjoyed. They definitely transport readers to another world. I'll definitely need to check out the other books on your list. Have a terrific week!
The only one I haven't read yet is Evangeline, but I have it from the library! I love that it has Joseph Kuefler illustrations :)
I agree with you that there are so many awesome middle grade novels to read. Admittedly, this is my reading gap. Have to remedy this.
