I know a sixth grader whose family is looking to move. Sounds perfect! When their house sells and they are ready to move, I will pass it along. Sheila

First, I'm a fellow librarian as well! It's nice to see a librarian turn author....I have the same dream!

Second, I'D LOVE TO WIN TOO! I've heard such great things about this one.

Augusta -I popped over here for OKAY FOR NOW because I am 2/3 of the way through it and think it is so deep and layered, and, aside from being an amazing emotional reading EXPERIENCE, it completely inspires me to write better and more. I'd like to give everyone I know a copy. But anyhow, what caught my eye is your forthcoming historical set in 60s MS delta. I lovelovelove southern stories, so I've very excited for your book. Congratulations!!

Thanks for all the great comments.
Librarians unite! Keep that dream going, Z.

Irene, I'm a huge fan of your novel, Leaving Gee's Bend. Scholastic is publishing my first middle grade historical GLORY BE in January 2012. Hard at work on the finishing touches.

I'll put all your names into that paper sack and announce the winners on my blog and Facebook very soon.
