Free! Free! GLORY BE!

As promised, I'm starting the week with a giveaway of a GLORY BE Advanced Reader Copy.

I'll make this simple. Just leave me a comment on the blog or on the Facebook update.

I'll give everybody a week, and the completely-unbiased-by-a-neighborhood-kid drawing will be next Tuesday.

Thanks for entering and GOOD LUCK.

I would adore one, as you know, but if I'm on the list to get one from Scholastic certainly give it to somebody else! btw: how many did you get?
:-)

What a great idea for pre-pub. marketing. And I am anxious to see the book, having nearly fallen in love with your title character. One sees her swept unknowingly into the cyclone Civil Rights represented to the deep South of the Sixties, never to be the same again, a consequence of coming to age at that time. For a historical snapshot of that time, a sweet and timeless story.

You know those little kids in the front of the classroom who always want to be called on....(waiving hands frantically...)

PICK ME! PICK ME!

Just picture that, coming from Atlanta, GA.

Please put my name in the fishbowl for this piece of history!

I'd love to give this a read, and if it's alright with you, I may review it on my blog.
Thanks for the opportunity!

I'm in and would either review it on my bog, or interview you, or both.

I'll be the other kid in the class, the one who says, "What do I want with some dumb book?" but who is screaming inside his head, "pick me, please?").

:) Come home already!

Augusta, I want to be entered IF Scholastic doesn't send me one. But maybe you won't know that in a week. At any rate, I'll be reviewing and plugging and linking.

Just like everyone else, I'd love to win, but I know I'll see Glory Be in bookstores soon. Yahoo!
As one of your critique-group buddies, I feel honored to have been with you during the process.

I'd love a copy. I grew up in the 60's and have family in the south. I feel connected to the story already.

I would love to review your book. Am I too late?

The winners were chosen, announced on another blog post. Thanks for entering. I think some of you are already on Scholastic's list for review copies. I hope you like the book as much as I loved writing it!
